Nine Black Alps, Nirvana Wannabes?
São uns rapazes de Manchester (linda cidade, ai que saudades!).
Pode ser que eu me engane, mas Manchester talvez seja o novo Seattle, bandas como Nine Black Alps, The Longcut e Former Bullies roçam o grunge que era (tão bem) feito em Seattle. Mas eu quero é falar do álbum de estreia dos Nine Black Alps.
Everthing Is é um álbum electrizante e potente mas não é álbum que vai mudar o mundo. Sam Forrest vocalista/guitarrista da banda, já admitiu que foi obcecado por Kurt Cobain, mas eu não o critico, quem aqui não foi obcecado pelos Nirvana?!
Este álbum frenético tem muito de Nirvana e consequentemente de Foo Fighters, um dos singles "Not Everyone" soa muito, mas muito "In the Bloom" mas também tem algo dos próprios, não sendo eles ingleses. Só para salientar que já tem 3 singles editados e 2 já entraram no TOP 40. Eu aconselho a ouvirem com atenção, pode ser que Antena 3 comece a passar na sua playlist.
Ah! São ou não são "wannabes"? Depois das tentativa dos Bush e Silverchair, Nine Black Alps.

São engraçados (acho muita piada a "Unsatisfied" - tb já a cantarolei na rua), mas serão eles mais que isso? Temos que esperar pelo álbum. Mas desconfio sempre dos seguidores de Kurt Cobain que vêm doutras latitudes e/ou longitudes.
